DDSR has multiple 'Wicks & Wilson' scanners that provide efficient turnaround of any aperture card scanning job at very competitive prices.
Similar to microfilm and microfiche, if not stored and handled correctly aperture cards may degrade more quickly. Access and storage of the cards can also be problematic, as is back-up and duplication.
Digitising allows easy, cheap and efficient back-ups to be made and simplifies access and storage requirements.
